How did the USA become involved in World War II?
A quick card sort activity to familiarise students with the events leading to the US entry to the war, and to identify key turning points such as the attack on Pearl Harbour, the signing of the tripartite pact and the creation of the Atlantic Charter by Churchill and Roosevelt. Axes are provided to help organise the cards according to whether they show interventionism or isolationism, over time. Teaching notes explain possible tasks to try with the cards.
