Managing extreme weather

A resource identifying the flood management strategies used in Cumbria in 2015 after Storm Desmond. The students are asked in pairs to consider the possible management options for protecting against flooding and compare their ideas with other groups. They then look at nine flood management options that the government put in place and complete a diamond nine activity to evaluate their effectiveness.
