Income and life expectancy, a Gapminder activity
This resource is a data response worksheet focusing on measures of development. The resource uses a excellent graph from the Gapminder organisation which makes comparisions between life expectancy and annual income per person for nearly 200 countries around the world to give a measure of each nation's development. A number of data response questions are provided on the worksheet for students to complete. A great activity which will create good discussion about the issues of development, could be used in class or set as a homework task.
