How have humans changed the Aral Sea?

This resource identifies the causes and the effects of the shrinking Aral Sea. Students use video evidence and a card sort task to complete a concept mapping activity to understand how humans have caused this environmental disaster and the effects it is having. They then look at the conflicts that are still associated with water abstraction in this area by completing a summary task and a conflicts matrix.
