Useful as a getting to know you activity in a first lesson. Students do a questionnaire about how they learn best then think critically about the notion of learning styles or multiple intelligences.

An extract from the worksheet:

Do you agree or disagree with the statements below?

Circle the appropriate number (1 = strongly agree; 4 = strongly disagree).  Then discuss your answers with a partner.

  1. When I try to recall a word or a grammar explanation, I remember what my class notes looked like or what the explanation looked like in the book.
