Three poppy templates for Remembrance Day. The resource features a poppy outline in black and white, one with red and green outlines, and one poppy template in full colour.

Use them for Remembrance Day word clouds or keywords or as writing templates for war poetry for older learners. Younger learners could use them as Remembrance Day colouring templates. The full colour poppy template could be used to enhance a Remembrance Day or WW1 war poetry or history display.

Why do we wear poppies?

Since they flourished in Flanders fields after the destruction and carnage of World War 1, poppies have been worn around Remembrance Day as a symbol of hope, and as a show of support for the armed forces.
