Take 10: Ghana – Kuapa Kokoo
This engaging revision resource helps students remember key information about the case study by associating facts with images, following the principle of dual coding.
It models how to make connections between those facts and then uses revision strips to test students' recall. The revision strips include all the images and ask the question 'How has fair trade benefited LICs like Ghana?'
The Word document also includes exam tips, practice exam questions and a mark scheme. The PowerPoint version of the resource can be used as a starter or plenary, and for peer assessment or self-assessment.
The exam-style questions were written to support the Eduqas B GCSE geography specification, but the bulk of the resource is also relevant to other exam boards.
