Whole school assemblies can be tricky. Leading collective worship in a way that will appeal to EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is not always straightforward. That’s why we’ve commissioned a set of non-denominational whole-school SMSC assembly ideas for teachers to pick up and go.

Our topical assembly plans have a PSHE theme, from anti-bullying to climate change to mental health. Each comes with an assembly script and a bright and engaging PowerPoint presentation and is based on an international day or national event, such as Earth Day, Children’s Mental Health Week or Acts of Kindness Day. Recommendations are made for music and extension activities should teachers wish to follow up with a class assembly, discussion or further teaching activities.
