Latitude and longitude: Festive traditions around the world

An ideal key stage 3 resource for the run-up to Christmas. Students practise their map skills and learn some fun festive facts in the process.
The PowerPoint presentation recaps what latitude and longitude are and links to a video clip of how to plot them. Students then locate coordinates on a world map to identify in which countries a whole range of festive traditions are observed.
The festive traditions include:
